Roman Vasilevskij the financial director comments on the semi-annual results:
“At the beginning of 2010 we planned either of 3 possible scenarios for the economic situation: optimistic, realistic, and pessimistic and we were ready for each of them. Fortunately our positive expectations came true. Floating budgets allowed us to increase our profit plans each month. June was the most successful month in this respect. We managed to achieve higher results than we had before the crisis.Growth of income allowed us to increase our expenditure. Disregard the unstable market situation we were able to invest in personnel training, marketing, employ new stuff members, and proceed with the implementation of the new corporate information system. The factors that helped us to reach positive results are as follows · Realistic income planning· Expenditure control· Preventive risk management · No credit resources As for our future financial plans we have all reasons to expect financial growth. Logistics market is growing, we have learnt to work more effectively, individual results of each stuff member are improving, and all together these factors will contribute to our growth in future”.
