CLOSING BORDERS

    Previously, the EU decided to temporarily close two checkpoints on the Lithuanian-Belarusian border Šumskas/Loša and Tväreačius/Vidzy from August 18. Now there are persistent rumors about the closure of two more border crossings, Kotlovka and Privalki. If this is implemented, then there will be 1 checkpoint left on the Poland-Belarus border, and 2 checkpoints on the Lithuania-Belarus border. This will cause queues to grow and the border crossing time to increase significantly, especially towards the end of the year.

TURKISH TRANSIT

    Many categories of cargo can be transported to the Russian Federation and Belarus in only one way - transit through Turkey. To date, our company has successfully organized the delivery of goods in several full and assembled vehicles. We expect the situation to level out in the near future and some reduction in rates.

DELIVERY OF NG FROM CHINA

    We continue to actively develop our own collection line for cargo from China. The volume of cargo transportation is constantly growing. Every week we send trucks with consolidated cargo to the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, sometimes combining these flows. Considering the global situation, this direction of cargo transportation is becoming increasingly important and promising.

Queues at the borders

    At the exit from Belarus to countries such as Latvia and Lithuania, lately there have always been huge queues of trucks. In this regard, only a quarter of the norm is processed at checkpoints. The biggest congestion is on the border between Belarus and Lithuania. This all increases transportation costs.
