New transport routes between Lithuania and Russia /25.08.2008

The Cabinet of Ministers of Lithuania adopted new transport routes in the Kursk Bay between Lithuania and Kaliningrad region in Russia. New waterways are expected to spur the economic, tourism and cultural development in the region.

The agreement about transport development in the inland waters was signed between Russia and Lithuania on 4th December 2007.
