Road Freight from China to Russia /01.09.2008

Road Freight from China to Russia should be organized on reciprocity agreement. This has been discussed by Igor Levitin, Minister for Transport of Russia, and Li Shenlim, Minister for Transport of China.

The Ministers have also discussed the issues of infrastructure development of the boarder territories as well as projects of the construction of the bridge across the river Amur at Blagoveschinsk – Heihe and Pokrovka – Loguhe.

The necessity to develop inland river transportation in China and Russia has been highlighted. It was also suggested that the parties should negotiate the possibility of Chinese export at the ports of Primorsk.
